It’s time to change the way you think about dieting. The Enlightened Diet is not about calorie counting, figuring fat, or watching your weight; nor is it a restrictive regimen. Rather, it is an evidence-based, scientifically sound, comprehensive program for the whole self that nourishes all of you—body, mind, and soul—each time you eat. Instead of being a slave to the scale, you’ll discover our seven newly identified eating styles that lead to overeating, overweight, and weight gain, and how to turn the failings of traditional dieting into achieving and maintaining your optimal weight while savoring the pleasures of every meal.

Phase 1. Getting Started       
What’s Your Eating Style? Where are you now? Find out before beginning Your Enlightened Diet Program by taking our What’s Your Eating Style? quiz (link to quiz). Developed in collaboration with research scientist Larry Scherwitz, PhD, “What’s Your Eating Style?” will give you insights into your nutrition strengths, areas you may choose to improve, as well as specific steps you can take—NOW—to begin to turn the tide of overeating and weight gain.

Phase II. 7 Weight Loss Solutions
Our current worldview on diet and weight loss encourages us to look at dieting with binoculars. One moment we point them at calories, the next at good and bad carbs, and then at fat—both in food and on our body. But toss away the binoculars and instead view food, eating, and your weight, through a kaleidoscope, and suddenly, stunning new nutrition insights emerge, which reveal “7 weight loss solutions” that also hold the power to nourish your body, mind, soul, and social well-being. Phase III. Menus, Meals, and Recipes
